Social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to reports that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has allegedly reunited with her husband, billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko.
The reports come months after speculation about a crisis in the couple’s marriage and claims that the actress had separated from her husband.
Reacting in a video shared on his social media page, VDM said he was pleased by the reported development, recalling the criticism he faced for defending Nwoko during the period of the alleged marital dispute.
According to him, he was attacked and labelled a misogynist by some social media users for refusing to join those condemning the politician.
“Alright, so we are going to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Regina Daniels has gone back to her husband. I’m very, very happy because I want to see you people make posts again,” VDM said.
He also questioned claims that Regina may have returned to Nwoko primarily because of their children.
VDM argued that such explanations appeared inconsistent with some of the narratives that circulated during the period of the couple’s reported separation.
He maintained that the criticism directed at him at the time was unfair, saying the latest reports had vindicated his position.
The activist’s comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with some users agreeing with him, while others maintained that the circumstances surrounding Regina’s reported return remain a private matter between the actress and her husband.
Spark News reports that neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko has, however, publicly confirmed the reported reunion.
