The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored the 330kV Kainji–Birnin Kebbi Single Circuit Transmission Line to service, weeks after it was shut down following the collapse of Tower 367 in Yauri.
TCN said the line was successfully restored at 5:24pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026, after engineers installed an Emergency Restoration System (ERS) tower at the affected location.
