The APC disclosed this in a statement signed by its Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Durosinmi Meseko, on Tuesday.
According to the party, the award will be presented to Morka at the NACJ Annual Integrity Lecture and Award Conference scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.
The APC said the recognition was a fitting acknowledgement of Morka’s contribution to the articulation and communication of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The party described Morka as a professional communicator who has consistently demonstrated clarity and intellectual depth in explaining government policies, programmes and achievements, as well as responding to issues of national importance.

It said his communication efforts had contributed to public understanding of reforms in areas including the economy, infrastructure, food security, social investment, national security and investment promotion.
The APC also highlighted Morka’s nearly four decades of experience in law, human rights advocacy, public policy, urban governance and democratic consolidation.
The party noted that Morka is the founder and Executive Director of the Social and Economic Rights Action Center (SERAC), and a former Legal Officer for Africa of the International Human Rights Law Group in Washington, DC, as well as former Legal Director of the Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO).
It further cited his engagements with international institutions, including the United Nations, UNAIDS, World Bank and African Union, and his LL.M degree from Harvard Law School.
Morka’s contributions to nation-building, democracy and the rule of law were also recognised in 2025 when President Tinubu conferred on him the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
